My artworks are mixed media. They are a combination of photo, oils, oils and pastels and dry pastels.

The Encaustic Works incorporate wax with the other forms of media above.

In August 2021 my guy and I took a landscape photography class with David Michael Kennedy. David shared his knowledge and experience, helping us understand composition better while enhancing our perception of landscape. We studied abandoned structures, light, perspective and vistas. Our travels took us to interesting places including a visit to brother David, The Desert Monk”.

Photos from my visit to Northern New Mexico in May 2021

Sauer-Beckmann is a working farm at the LBJ State Park located in Gillespie County Texas. It offers a real life look at farming ranching in the 1800 and early 1900 s.

The Land of Enchantment, New Mexico. Northern New Mexico has the most wonderful skies, vividly colored terrain and welcoming people. In this selection of photographs one will find out why northern New Mexico is one of my most favorite places to visit. Central and Southern New Mexico offer white sands and winter homes to thousands of birds.

Marathon ,Texas is located about 60 miles north of Big Bend National Park on the Marathon Uplift (part of the Ouachita Mountains) and the beginning of the Texas Mountain Trail. Here are a few pictures from our visit in March 2021
